Privacy Policy

tag2time converts prices into estimated working time. This policy covers the iPhone app, its Share extension, the tag2time.com website, and messages you send to us.

Who is responsible

tag2time is provided by devops on demand S.R.L., the controller of personal information received through our website and correspondence. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@tag2time.com.

Information stored on your device

Your monthly net income, work schedule, currency, language, and display preferences are saved on your device. The app and its Share extension use shared local storage so the extension can calculate with your settings. These settings are not sent to us.

Item prices and calculation results are processed on the device. The current app does not maintain a purchase history, require an account, connect to your bank, or include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Your device settings may allow Apple or your computer to include app data in backups; tag2time does not operate its own cloud backup or sync service.

Camera and scanned prices

Camera access is optional and is used when you open the price scanner. The scanner uses Apple’s on-device text recognition to identify amounts and currency symbols. tag2time does not save camera frames to your photo library or upload them to a server. Selecting a detected foreign-currency price can trigger the exchange-rate request described below.

Content you share with tag2time

When you choose tag2time in the iOS Share Sheet, the extension processes the text, title, URL, or page information supplied by the source app. Safari can provide price-related information from the page you chose to share. This information is processed locally, is not uploaded by tag2time, and is not saved as purchase history. The source website or app has its own privacy practices.

Currency conversion

When you select a scanned price in a recognized currency different from your income currency, the app requests a reference exchange rate from Frankfurter at api.frankfurter.dev, using European Central Bank rates. The request includes the two currency codes and the rate-provider selection. It does not include your income, work schedule, item price, shared product details, or camera images. The amount is converted on your device.

As with any internet connection, the service and its network infrastructure receive technical connection information, such as your IP address. Frankfurter states that its API does not log personal data, IP addresses, or request URLs; its public service uses Cloudflare for caching and protection. See Frankfurter’s privacy information. Ordinary same-currency calculations do not require this request.

Website

The website’s demo calculator runs in your browser. Values you enter into it are not sent to us and are not saved by the website. It uses the same currency for income and item price and does not request exchange rates.

The website stores your selected language in your browser’s local storage under the key tag2time-language. It does not set advertising cookies or use analytics trackers. You can remove the saved preference by clearing this site’s browser data.

The site is hosted using Amazon Web Services. Serving and protecting the site involves technical request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time. Hosting or content-delivery logs may retain this information depending on the infrastructure configuration. It is used for operation, troubleshooting, and security, not advertising profiles.

Email and support

If you email hello@tag2time.com, support@tag2time.com, or privacy@tag2time.com, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message, and attachments you choose to send. We use correspondence to answer questions, investigate issues, and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, bank details, or unredacted income screenshots.

Purposes, providers, and retention

We process support correspondence and necessary website technical information for our legitimate interests in responding to you, maintaining the service, and preventing abuse. Where a request relates to a contract or a legal obligation, we process the necessary information on that basis. We do not use these messages for marketing or sell personal information.

Apple provides email hosting and AWS provides website hosting. Frankfurter and its network providers handle exchange-rate requests. Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Their applicable terms and privacy information describe their processing and international-transfer arrangements. Contact us if you need information about the arrangements applicable to your request.

Local app settings remain until you change or remove them; browser language preferences remain until cleared. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request, handle related follow-up, and meet applicable legal or dispute-resolution obligations. Technical logs, where enabled, are subject to the hosting configuration and provider retention rules. Backup copies may remain according to your or the provider’s backup settings.

Your choices

You can edit your income and work settings in the app and revoke camera access in iOS Settings. Blurring financial values or hiding result details changes what is visible on screen; it does not delete the underlying values. Removing the app using Delete App removes its local app data; Offload App keeps app data. Separately retained backups are controlled by your backup settings.

For personal information we hold, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability under applicable law. Send requests to privacy@tag2time.com. We may need limited information to verify a request. We cannot retrieve or remotely edit income settings that remain solely on your device.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Romania, this is the ANSPDCP.

Changes

We will update this policy when relevant features or processing practices change and revise the date above.
